A literary blog that takes you a journey through the books I've read and how they've left a lasting impact: an exuberant amalgamation of the learning experiences that they bring and how living vicariously can teach you so much about life- the undeniably complex yet beautiful adventure.
“And Hansel said to Gretel: ‘Let us drop these bread crumbs so that together we find our way home.”
- One Tree Hill
This beautiful quote has been one of my greatest inspirations to start this blog. A chimerical, whimsical and hopeful young adult, I've always loved to read. Reading is like scuba diving to me, you delve deep into its story, awaiting the unexpected while it takes you on mystical and didactic adventures and after the beautiful journey, emerge with a feeling of satisfaction and enlightenment.
I believe that every work of literature has a way of speaking to you on a personal level. No matter how far fetched the story may seem, what keeps you engaged is how you see yourself in the plot, how you try to grasp onto some phrases of the story because they hit too close to home and how at the end it makes you think and introspect.
And that is exactly what this blog is about: Unleashing an aurora of insightful thoughts and perceptions through our favorite novels! How we try to relate fiction to reality, what I felt while reading the particular novel and went through parallelly in life and how this omnium gatherum of personal anecdotes can make a significant impact on how you deal with the situations in your life.
When you pick up a book, what do you expect from it? Is it just a fanciful way of spending time in your head? Is it always supposed to be a learning experience? Or is the sole purpose of reading just to dawdle the day away?
